I am an assistant professor in the group of Dynamical Systems, Geometry and Mathematical Physics (DSGMP) at the Bernoulli Institute of the University of Groningen.

During 2018-2020, I was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow and a TUM University Foundation Fellow working in the group of Prof. Christian Kuehn at the Faculty of Mathematics of the Technical University of Munich. I also held postdoctoral positions at the DTPA and GBB groups of the University of Groningen.

I obtained my PhD from the University of Groningen in 2015. My doctoral supervisors are prof. dr. Henk Broer and prof. dr. Gert Vegter.

My research interests are: Dynamical Systems in the broad sense but especially those with multiple time scales. Besides, I am interested in developments on Control Theory, Mathematical Biology and Neuroscience, Networks and Complex Systems, among others.
